ALL FIVE candidates for Anne McIntosh’s current constituency are to attend a hustings meeting to speak on issues that concern older voters.

On Monday, March 30, all five prospective parliamentary candidates for the Thirsk, Malton and Filey seat will be attending a meeting at The Galtres Centre in Easingwold between 2pm and 4pm.

The meeting has been by Age UK North Yorkshire and Easingwold Over Fifties Forum and will focus on issues that concern older members of the community. The meeting will be chaired by Len Tingle, BBC Political Editor for Yorkshire.

It will be attended by Labour’s Alan Avery, Conservative candidate Kevin Hollinrake, the Green Party’s Chris Newsam, UKIP’s Toby Horton and Dinah Keal from the Liberal Democrats.

Entry is open to anyone, it is free and there may be an opportunity to ask your own questions.
