A CAT that was trapped in a building under renovation was rescued thanks to a tracking device.
North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said Ralph had gone missing four days earlier and his owner had been searching for him.
On Friday night, he called the emergency services after locating a signal coming from the property in Langton Road, Norton, near Malton.
A spokesman for the fire service said the cat was trapped in cavity wall. Firefighters used tools to free him. The police also attended the incident.
North Yorkshire Police tweeted: "NYP assisted Fire Brigade with a cat gone in a house in Malton being renovated and been entombed in a wall by builders. Rescued a purr fect ending!!"
