VOLUNTEERS have collected more than 50 bags of rubbish in three hours in Leeming Bar. Richard Moore, chairman of Leeming Bar Residents’ Association, said 24 bags of litter were collected from the business park on Conygarth Way. CHORAL CONCERT: As part of the worship of Sowerby Methodist Church for Easter Week, the Mowbray Singers will perform John Stainer’s Crucifixion on Good Friday, (April 18) at 7pm. There will be a retiring collection for Yorkshire Cancer Research.
