TWO men with missing teeth are wanted following the attempted theft of several bottles of vodka from a supermarket.

Officers say two men tried to make off with five bottles of vodka from the Co-op on Springfield in Stokesley just after 3.30pm on Monday, May 8.

CCTV captured two men approach the alcohol aisle and place the litre bottles of Smirnoff in a rucksack.

Staff members spotted what was going on and put out a tannoy message when one of the men left the store without paying for the goods.

They followed the men outside and were able to recover the vodka before the suspects made off from the area.

One was described as white, aged 28 to 30, of medium build with missing teeth. He was wearing a black gilet with a grey hooded top underneath, and dark trousers.

The other was also white and aged between 28 and 30, with a heavy build and missing teeth. He was wearing a black Puffa-style jacket.
