CLOCKS: The Victorian chiming presentation clock at Ryedale Folk Museum
A MUSEUM is seeking a volunteer to get its historic display clocks ticking again.
Ryedale Folk Museum is hoping to restore a Victorian chiming presentation clock, a pendulum clock, a grandfather clock, a chapel wall clock and a General Post Office electric wall clock.
Almost all the clocks at the museum need ongoing maintenance or restoration.
A volunteer recruitment day will be held from 10am until 4pm on Wednesday, February 21.
