POLICE are looking for the driver of a Porsche who may have witnessed an offence.
On Saturday afternoon a green Volkswagen Golf estate car failed to stop for police on the A64 between York and Malton as officers attempted to pull it over.
At the time, the driver of a Porsche was travelling east along the road near Whitwell Hill, between 3.10pm and 3.50pm. Officers now want to trace the driver of this sports car as the motorist may have seen the incident.
A man in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the offence and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
