The family run farm at Malton, North Yorkshire, is expected to harvest more than 10,000 pumpkins in the coming weeks to supply shops and businesses throughout England.

• The Northern Echo will be running a Halloween photo competition in the coming weeks. We want to see your best Halloween photo. It could be yourself, your children, your house or even your pets. We will be offering a prize for the best picture so why not send yours in. We will need to know your name, address and contact number and the names and ages of anyone on the photograph.
