A WARTIME musical weekend will return for its 18th year to take visitors on a nostalgia trip.
Pickering Musical Society will host their production of ENSA – Memory Lane, which will showcase some of the most well-known songs from the 1940s.
The story features an army sergeant who loses patience when a mother accompanies her timid son when enlisting in the army.
Maureen Symonds, show producer, said: “I cannot believe I have been producing the wartime production for 18 years. Where do the years go?
“Your support over the years has helped enormously in keeping our theatre going.
“We hope you enjoy our show and trust you will participate in the well-known songs of the era. So, grab yourself a glass of wine or beer and start singing.”
The performance will be held at Pickering’s Kirk Theatre and will run from this Wednesday until Sunday.
Tickets are £12.50 and can be bought at the box office or online at www.kirktheatre.co.uk
