A FORMER Minister and advocate for business will set about ‘Fixing History’ when he visits Helmsley for a public speech.
Lord Digby Jones will talk about his life and new book, ‘Fixing Business: Making Profitable Business Work for the Good of All’, which offers advice to businesses and explores a post-Brexit world.
Lord Digby Jones is a peer in the House of Lords and a former Minister of State for Trade and Investment.
As a former corporate lawyer and director general of the Confederation of British Industry, he speaks around the world.
The event takes place on Friday, October 13 at Duncombe Park and all proceeds will go towards renovations of the church in Old Byland.
Tickets cost £20 and include a signed copy of his book, which was published in May this year, along with wine and canapes.
