FATAL: Flowers at the scene of the smash
AN inquest has been opened into the death of a Ryedale man who was killed in a car crash on the A169.
Stuart “Paddy” Westoby, 57, from Pickering, died when the blue Mini Cooper he was travelling in came off the road, just before 10pm, on May 14. Police said the car broke through a fence and crashed into a resident’s garden, close to The Black Bull Inn, Pickering. A second man, in his 20s, was taken to hospital.
