FOUR people have been arrested this morning in connection with an assault.
Police were called at 11.15pm on Friday, August 12 to reports of a man with serious injuries in Burnholme Drive, York.
The man, in his forties, had been assaulted and sustained serious head injuries. He was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
Today (Monday, August 15) two men aged 21 and 30 from the York area, and a 28-year-old man and a 22-year-old woman both from the Malton area, were arrested in connection with the incident.
All four remain in custody while enquiries continue.
