NORTH Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses to a fatal collision near York on Sunday morning.
A 35-year-old man died when a yellow MG Midget car he was driving left the road and collided with a hedgerow at 11.35am on Sunday, August 14 while travelling on Intake Lane, towards the village of Acaster Malbis.
The man, from the Hovingham area, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
Nobody else was in the car and no other vehicles were involved.
North Yorkshire Police are asking for anyone who saw the MG prior to the collision, or the collision itself, to get in touch. Please dial 101, select option 2, ask for the Major Collision Investigation Team and quote reference 12160146392.
