LEADING artists from across the region are exhibiting work at a special free fair.
The Pickering Art Fair will feature many up and coming artists including Dean Regan from Whitby, who paints mainly in oils, and Justine Warner from York, a textile artist working mainly in recycled materials including wet and dry felting.
Organiser Diane Todd said:"We are very lucky to have such highly esteemed artists exhibiting with us.
"I think we have a lot of talent in our region, and as an artist. if you haven’t got gallery representation, then art fairs are great opportunity to take your work to the next level and that’s what these shows are about.
"It’s all about creating exhibiting opportunities for artists and makers alike.”
The fair is being held in Pickering Memorial Hall on Saturday, May 7 and Sunday, May 8 from 10am to 4pm. Entry is free.
