FOOD writer, TV presenter and campaigner Prue Leith will be among the line-up at this year’s Malton Food Lovers Festival.

She will host the NFU Kitchen Question Time, an open discussion with celebrity chef panellists Levi Roots, Valentine Warner, William Sitwell and Hattie Ellis.

The Great British Menu judge will be calling on the panel to tackle questions across a range of topics, from cooking techniques and tips, to favourite produce and Yorkshire specials.

The festival, on May 23 and 24, will also boast a food market comprising more than 160 of Yorkshire’s best producers, retailers and restaurateurs, many trading well into the evening at the Night Market.

Access to the festival is free, however chef demonstrations, cookery lessons in Malton Cookery School and tutored tastings are ticketed so visit maltonyorkshire.co.uk/food-lovers-festival/ to book places and keep updated on events.
