POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information about an arson attack between Claxton and Sandhutton just off the A64 near Malton. The incident occurred by an unclassified road in the early hours of Friday, March 20, sometime between 3.30am and 5.30am. Hundreds of bales of straw and hay were set alight. Anyone with information is urged to contact t police on 101, or Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555111.
