A MOTORCYCLE pillion passenger who died in a collision with a car has been named. An inquest has been opened into the death of Linda Quantrill, 55, of Scarborough, following the crash on the A170 at Sinnington, near Pickering, on March 30. Her husband, 63, who was riding the motorbike remains in Hull Royal Infirmary in a serious, but stable condition.
CYCLIST STABLE: A 48-year-old off-duty firefighter who sustained serious spinal, pelvic and internal injuries while cycling after a collision with a car near Bainbridge, in Wensleydale, on Saturday, remains in a stable condition at the James Cook University Hospital, Middlesbrough.
