ONE of the world’s most famous brass bands is set to perform at Ripon Cathedral.
The Black Dyke Band is the most recorded band in the world with more than 350 recordings, and is the most successful contesting band globally having won European Championships 13 times, British Open 30 times, and British National Championships 23 times.
The impressive live band have performed with the likes of Peter Gabriel, Jools Holland and Sir Elton John, and recorded with Paul McCartney.
The concert will take place in Ripon Cathedral on Saturday, September 3 at 7.30pm and tickets are now available online and from the cathedral shop.
Tickets start from £10 for under 16s, £15 non-reserved and £20 reserved.
All funds will go towards Ripon Cathedral projects.
