A new home is needed for Khan, following the death of his owner.

Jane Clare Marwood lived all her life in the family home at Gayles, near Richmond. She was a familiar sight to many as she walked Khan around the surrounding lanes.

Jane enjoyed a variety of interests including the WI, darts, theatre and coach trips, but most of all loved to dance. When young she had hoped to make this her career, but the family farm came first.

All these activities brought Jane into contact with a wide range of people, many of whom came to think of her as a kind, loyal, thoughtful friend and neighbour. Her quiet sunny smile will be missed by many.

Khan now needs somebody to look after him. He is a small to medium sized, mostly black and tan crossbreed. Aged approximately 12, he is in good health and has a quiet gentle temperament. He is good with children and cats.
