An at home ‘table top treat night’ was held on Thursday 13th December at the home of Alison Turnbull in Kirby Hill, for the charity Motor Neuron Disease Association.

Alison would like to give a very big thank you to product suppliers as well as invited guests who turned out on a truly horrid night of fog, ice and -5 degrees weather conditions. Supporters included Stella & Dot Jewellery, Trenchman Foods, The Little Chocolate Shop, Icing Queen Cakes, Niche Living and Sue’s Homeware. Alison's special sweet for the evening was "Keith's Tart", designed with her brother's sweet tooth in mind.

Alison said her brother Keith Anderson who died from MND in Feb 2009 aged 52 "was never phased by much in life, and would have been over the moon that friends and neighbours had made a great effort on a really dreadful night. It truly is a very horrid, debilitating and frustrating illness affecting the whole body".
