A BREWERY is continuing its longstanding affiliation with comedy troupe Monty Python, with the launch of a ‘very silly’ seasonal ale.
The Masham-based Black Sheep Brewery has partnered with Monty Python to create ‘Monty Python’s Flying Circus - A Very Silly IPA’.
The brew marks the company’s third Monty Python collaboration since 1999 when it launched the Holy Grail, which has become one of Black Sheep’s most popular beers.
Fittingly, the latest brew was launched at The Flying Circus pub, in Newark.
Jo Theakston of Black Sheep said that the brewery’s Python-inspired beers have grown to become regular and permanent fixtures among the range, and they are expecting Flying Circus to be another hit.
