TWO North Yorkshire cyclists are encouraging people to get on their bikes as part a national campaign.
Helen Pollard, from Hawes, who runs the company Stage 1 Cycles with her partner Mike Allenby is holding a variety of events throughout May as part of The Big Bike Revival.
The campaign aims to help people get on their bikes and discover cycling in their local area. Ms Pollard said: “It is important to provide children with an escape valve from modern day pressures of school and growing up. Cycling is a fantastic way to protect and support mental health and emotional development in kids and adults.”
They anticipate seeing more than 180 people joining in activities, which range from teaching children to cycle to a leisurely tour for local ladies. For more details about The Big Bike Revival and dates of events visit; bigbikerevival.org.uk/find-an-event/
