A RIDE in a classic Ferrari and a hot air balloon trip are among the exhilarating prizes on offer at a charity auction at Scotch Corner in June.
The auction, organised by the Richmond Rotary Club, will be held at The Holiday Inn on the evening of June 16 and as well as a host of goods to bid on, there will be a meal and live music from Yorkshire folk singers Fourum.
Among the many desirable items on offer is an autographed bat from the Yorkshire County Team as well as a number of goods and services donated by local companies.
Money raised will go to the Rotary Club's polio vaccination project and for every pound raised, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation will add £2.
Tickets for the evening cost £19 per head and are available from robertmhughes@talk21.com.
