A MOUNTAIN rescue team was called to help a walker injured in the Dales.
Volunteers from Swaledale Mountain Rescue Team trekked to Gunnerside Gill in Swaledale to assist the walker on Sunday.
The walker was treated at the scene before being taken almost two miles to the nearest vehicle track and then transferred to an ambulance.
The rescue team posted a message of thanks on their Facebook page to all who helped them.
The statement said: “Thanks to the passing walkers who assisted and updated us with a better grid ref.”
