THORNBOROUGH Lodge Freemasons celebrated their 70th anniversary with a reception at Thornborough Hall, Leyburn, North Yorkshire.
Secretary David Ward said around 60 people gathered to celebrate the event, including current members, their wives and partners, five Lodge widows and two guests from a neighbouring lodge.
All enjoyed a buffet and drinks.
Ian Scott, youngest son of Lodge founder Malcolm Scott, delivered a speech to those gathered.
The group currently has 80 members and Mr Ward said it was going from strength to strength.
