BUDDING photographers are being invited to an afternoon tutorial at a Jacobean stately home.
Richmond-based photographer Guy Carpenter will lead the workshop at Kiplin Hall, near Scorton, where participants will learn to capture images in low light conditions.
During the tutorial, which is limited to 12 places, participants will also see simple tips and tricks that Mr Carpenter has learned through experience and trial and error.
The tutorial starts at 2pm with a discussion in the hall about low light photography techniques. Before dusk the group will head out into the grounds to put into practice what has been taught.
Ideally participants will need a camera with the ability to change settings manually, and some experience in using it. A tripod is also required.
The tutorial is on Thursday, February 16, from 2pm to 7pm. Tickets are £45 per person, to book call 01748 818178 or email info@kiplinhall.co.uk.
