A NEW Zealand winemaker will be visiting a Yorkshire Dales independent food store. Gordon Russell, head winemaker at Esk Valley Estate in New Zealand will be visiting Campbell's of Leyburn to discuss the Regional Diversity of New Zealand Pinot Noir.
Store manager Richard Walker said: “We are very fortunate to welcome one of the most iconic figures in wine in New Zealand. Gordon is a fantastic speaker and will be introducing a small number of wines from different regions as well as discussing the recent vintage. He will also provide an update on exciting events in the
New Zealand wine world."
The intimate event is free and includes nibbles and wine tastings, taking place upstairs at Campbell's of Leyburn at 12.30pm on Wednesday, September 28.
