A TORY MP faced a grilling from children when he took part in a school’s own version of Question Time.
Youngsters from all year groups fired a series of questions at Richmond MP Rishi Sunak at a special assembly arranged for his visit to Aiskew, Leeming CE primary.
The questions ranged from how he became an MP to what he most liked and disliked about the job.
He was also shown around the school by members of the school council – George and Annabel Nicholson, Dylan Doherty, Edie Cooper and Katie Kettlewell.
The MP also shared lunch of fish fingers, roast potatoes and peas with the pupils and the school’s headteacher Stephen Simper and teaching assistant Karen Anwar.
“It was great to witness their enthusiasm and their obvious pride in the school,” said the MP.
