SCORTON: The entrance to Westfields, Scorton
FIRE crews in Richmond have dealt with a pylon fire in Scorton, near Richmond.
The service was called out this morning to reports of the fire at Westfields in the village, which is a small cul-de-sac near the Heifer pub and restaurant.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue said the fire was out on arrival, and crews are currently waiting at the scene for the electricity board to make the pylon safe.
