TRACTOR enthusiast from across the north converged on the Yorkshire Dales to put their beloved mechanical workhorses through their paces.
Swaledale provided a spectacular setting for the first Keld Tractor Run, organised by local farmer Chris Calvert.
A convoy of 36 tractors took part in the 40-mile run, setting off and finishing at Keld after completing a circuitous route around the Dale.
The Gunnerside estate gave permission for the tractors to use their shooting road and well over half the run took place off-road or on tiny country lanes.
Enthusiasts travelled from as far away as Cumbria, Weardale and Teesdale to take part in run with a wide variety of tractors, from vintage to modern.
The event was raising money for the Keld Resource Centre Project, a local charity which is restoring a series of listed buildings in the village centre and returning them to community use.
