A JEWELLER will join forces with a crystal healer this May to introduce customers to the power of gemstones.

Gem, which is based in Rosemary Lane, Richmond, and run by Carolyn Grant, is bringing in the services of holistic therapist Lisa Ward, who will be there every Wednesday during next month.

Ms Ward, who worked with the Ministry of Defence before gaining a qualification in crystal and sound therapy, said: "I'm so thrilled to be joining up with Gem next month, it will be fantastic to share my expertise with anyone who wants to pop in.

"I first became interested in crystals when I was only nine, and after buying my first book on the subject, and two quartz crystals, I was hooked.

“Now, as well as being a therapist, I'm also a qualified aromatherapist, and an angelic Reiki practitioner."

Ms Grant, said, "We're often getting questions from customers about which is the perfect stone to give to, say, a pregnant friend, or someone getting married. Even gemstones to promote luck or reduce stress are now being requested.

"As we already have a beautiful range of gemstone jewellery, we thought it would be wonderful to bring in a qualified crystal healer for our customers to get first-hand advice.”

Gem stocks a large range of gemstone and silver jewellery, as well as a selection of crystals, gifts, and greetings cards. For more information visit www.gemrichmond.co.uk.
