PEOPLE living in Hambleton and Richmondshire are being invited to help themselves to free compost at series of upcoming events.
Yorwaste, in partnership with Hambleton and Richmondshire District Councils, is holding the compost giveaways in April, May and June.
The compost has been produced from the household green waste collections carried out by the two authorities and has been officially designated as high grade.
The compost giveaways, from Yorwaste’s Tancred Waste Transfer Station, near Scorton, will take place between 8am and noon on April 16 and 30, May 14 and 28 and June 11.
