A NUMBER of GP practices in the Hambleton and Richmondshire area will be closed for an afternoon next week for staff training.
They will be closed between 12.30pm and 6.30pm on Thursday, April 14, and out-of-hours cover has been arranged for patients who require urgent attention which can be accessed by calling NHS 111.
The practices involved are: Great Ayton Health Centre, Catterick Village Health Centre, Glebe House, Mayford House, Leyburn Practice, the Doctors’ Surgery at Thirsk Health Centre, Harewood Medical Practice, Scorton Medical Centre, Central Dales Practice at Hawes and Aysgarth, Mowbray House and Hutton Rudby, Friary Surgery, Topcliffe Surgery, the Health Centre Stokesley, Lambert Medical Centre and Quaker's Lane Surgery
Normal GP service will resume on April 15.
