A CHARITY ball on the annual celebration of Scotland’s national poet Robert Burns will raise cash for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Middleton Lodge, in Middleton Tyas, near Richmond, is holding the Burns Night Ball on Saturday, January 23, and organisers hope to provide guests with an evening of decadence at the Georgian country estate.
Guests will be greeted with a champagne reception before being led by a piper to the marquee for a three-course haggis-inspired dinner specially created by Middleton Lodge’s award-winning head chef, Robert Taylor.
All proceeds from the event will go to Teenage Cancer Trust, a UK charity dedicated to improving the quality of life and chances of survival for young people aged between 13 and 24 diagnosed with cancer every day.
