FESTIVAL bosses have signed a new sponsorship deal for one of their main events.
Brymor Ice-cream will now support the 2016 Reeth Lecture, one of the major events of the Swaledale Festival - which will be given by television art historian Andrew Graham-Dixon in Reeth Methodist Chapel May 30.
The agreement also means that, for the first time at the festival, ice-cream will be on sale at concerts in St Andrew's Church, Grinton.
Spokesmen for both the festival and Brymor said they identified strongly with the local community and saw the deal as an ideal way for the two organisations to work together.
Next year’s festival runs from May 28 to June 11 and tickets will be available in March. Full details can be found at swalefest.org
