PROUD sixth formers took students on a grand tour of their college to help them decide on the best options for the future.

Head boy Chris Gill and head girl Lindsay Christison welcomed hundreds of students and their families as Richmond School and Sixth Form College opened its doors to the community.

Current sixth formers became ambassadors and tour guides for the evening giving their peers an insight into the learning experience at Richmond.

Prospective students were able to get a taste of the college’s facilities and talk to staff and students about subject options and extra-curricular activities.

Head teacher Ian Robertson said: “I am really proud of what we have achieved in the past two years. Our mission is to be the best at preparing students for the world of work, university or apprenticeships.

“Our recent A-level results show the progress of ours students has been absolutely outstanding with 80 per cent securing places at their preferred university.
