CARAVAN OVERTURNS: There are severe delays on the A1M after a caravan overturned near Wetherby Picture: Highways England
TRAFFIC is beginning to flow again on the A1M after a caravan overturned near Wetherby, West Yorkshire.
Two lanes of the northbound carriageway were closed earlier this evening following the accident between junction 42 and 43.
Tailbacks of more than ten miles were reported.
At 5pm Highways England tweeted a picture of the accident scene showing a crane recovering the overturned caravan.
It has since confirmed that both lanes have reopened.
