RAIDERS targeted a village home while the owners were on holiday and stole a watch worth £7,500 and other valuable items.
They smashed a conservatory door to get into the house in Eppleby near Richmond sometime between September 1 and 7.
A number of high value items were stolen in the burglary, including a limited edition Brietling GBW Superocean white chronographic watch, marked as 09 of 100.
The watch, serial number 899162, is worth around £7,500. Several items of jewellery were also taken.
An amount of cash, including £250 cash float belonging to a registered local pre-school charity and raised through fundraising events, was also taken.
Anyone with information should contact North Yorkshire police on 1010, select option one and ask for the force control room.
