A RACECOURSE will hold its first truck show this weekend.
Sedgefield Racecourse, in County Durham, will host the event from Saturday, August 29 to Monday, August 31, from 2pm each day.
Attractions include a Drakes of Hazards display, Flying Oysters, pony rides, Zoo Academy, donkey display and a car boot sale on both Sunday and Monday, subject to weather.
There is also a twilight trek on the Saturday evening during which participants can raise money for their chosen charity.
Jill Williamson, executive director, said: “The Truck Show has snowballed from the day we announced we were taking the event on board.
"There has been such a buzz about the show and we’re confident it will become one of the biggest events on our annual calendar.
“We have put so much effort into ensuring all goes well and there is something for everyone with child friendly activities and evening entertainment.
"We look forward to welcoming everyone on the day, it’s going to be a fantastic, fun filled family show.”
