PHOTOGRAPHER Rob Graham captured this spectacular picture of the Milky Way as it beamed brightly over Ribblehead Viaduct on a clear and moonless Wednesday night.
Mr Graham headed into the Yorkshire Dales in the early hours with a friend hoping to capture the peak of the Perseid meteor shower with his Canon 6D and 17-40mm F4 lens.
The meteors, while visible to the naked eye were too dim to pick up on camera but the Milky Way glistened in the clear and light pollutionless skies over the Yorkshire Dales.
