A TOWN’S top tourist spots have teamed up to offer visitors a special ticket that will save money on entrance fees and shopping opportunities.

The Richmond Town Ticket can be used to gain combined entrance to the Green Howards Museum, Richmond Castle, the Georgian Theatre Royal, Richmondshire Museum, and 15 per cent off purchases at the Station’s Lost and Found shop.

On sale from April 1 until October 31 at all five venues, the ticket – costing £13 for adults, £11 for concessions, and £36 for a family - can be used to visit each of the attractions and is valid for a week from date of purchase.

The ticket represents a 15 per cent saving off the total entrance fees for individual attractions.

This new initiative is being supported by Richmond Town Council as a way of encouraging tourists to visit the area.

Richmond Mayor, Councillor Clive World, said: “Working out at just over £3 per attraction for a single adult ticket and £2.25 per person for a family of four, it really does represent great value for money and the fact that the tickets last a whole week makes it ideal for those holidaying in the area, as well as the day visitor on a whistle-stop tour.”

The Station does not charge an entrance fee but ticket holders will be able to receive an additional 15 per cent off all purchases made at its popular Lost and Found shop, selling new and vintage lifestyle items.
