POLICE are appealing for information about two thefts that took place in the Richmondshire area.
Sometime between November 28 and December 1, thieves broke into Catterick Caravans, on Gatherley Road, Brompton-on-Swale, and took seven hitch locks from caravans parked in the compound.
The hitch locks are red or red and black and most are made by Alko.
During the same time period, eight Land Rover spare wheels, two Stihl chainsaws and a small generator were stolen from vehicles parked up at Scotch Corner Hotel, in Middleton Tyas.
Anyone with information should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option two and ask for PC Emma Taylor or Richmond police.
