PRINCESS Anne is in Richmond today for the Freedom Parade where she inspected troops from the Royal Signals.
As the Corps’ Colonel-in-Chief, the Princess Royal also presented awards during the parade, which commemorated the Corps holding the Freedom of the town for the last 50 years.
The band and marching troops marched into the Market Place around 11am and the Princess inspected the front rank along with the Master of Signals.
A request was then made for permission to exercise their right to march and the march then commenced right around the Market Place.
