FIREFIGHTERS were called to deal with severe flooding in a property that led to the collapse of three ceilings.
Crews from Pickering attended a three storey property in Cropton which had flooded due to cold weather causing a defect in the pipework.
The water caused three ceilings to collapse.
The owner had isolated the water supply prior to arrival of the fire service.
Crews assisted with making the scene safe and drained water from a second water tank in the loft. They also assisted with salvage operations.
The incident happened at 8.20am on Sunday morning.
