RENOWNED photographers are about to share their approach to taking great images of the North York Moors landscape and wildlife.

Moorsview 2017 will be a weekend devoted to outdoor photography organised by local businesses PC Photographic and Trailblazer Outdoors.

It will see a fresh line-up of speakers for a one-day seminar on Saturday 9 September at the Kirk Theatre in Pickering.

Well-known photographers such as Joe Cornish and Robert Fuller will join upcoming talents Karl Holtby and Lucy Saggars in sharing their skills and techniques with the audience.

Proceeds from the day will be donated to the Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue Team and a number of local wildlife and conservation charities.

This year’s event, which was first held in 2015, has also expanded to include Moorsview Extras, a series of photo walks and practical workshops on September 8 and 10 at locations throughout the National Park.

They will include opportunities to hone night photography skills at Whitby, take images of raptors in flight at the National Centre for Birds of Prey in Helmsley and learn the techniques for capturing the beauty of locations such as the Hole of Horcum and Saltwick Bay.
