AIR ambulance medics were called to the North York Moors when an elderly man was seriously injured at his home.
The Great North Air Ambulance was called to the village of Castleton near Guisborough on Sunday, after a man aged in his seventies suffered a head injury during an accident in his house.
He was assessed by a paramedic and doctor team before being placed in an induced coma.
The crew then flew him to the James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough, where his condition was described as life-threatening.
