THOUSANDS of pounds is on offer to communities in the North York Moors National Park for small scale projects.
The Community Grant scheme seeks to support projects that focus on either environmental benefits, cultural heritage and local history, and/or community facility improvements within the National Park.
Up to £3,500 is available for projects that fulfils this criteria.
This is the fifth year of the scheme and previous projects have included repairing a church clock, restoring street cobbles, renovating windows in a village hall and buying equipment for a film club.
