A POLICE community support officer was injured after a garden ornament was thrown through a police station window.
The officer suffered cuts to her face which needed hospital treatment.
The incident happened at 10.20pm at Eastfield police station, near Scarborough, North Yorkshire.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: "We are treating this incident extremely seriously, and an extensive investigation is ongoing to identify those responsible."
