THE National Trust is calling on artists to get involved in a summer exhibition of outdoor art being held at Rievaulx Terrace, near Helmsley.
Called Terraced Treasures, the event will showcase pieces from local artists.
It will run from July 7 to November 1 and will be seen by thousands of visitors who visit the Terrace, a grassed embankment and woodland walk area with fabulous views over the historic ruins of Rievaulx Abbey.
A spokesman said:”The exhibition will be outdoors and subject to the vagaries of the British weather so anything submitted will have to be able to be displayed outside without suffering damage.”
