A MAN has been airlifted to hospital after a shooting accident on the North York Moors.
The incident is thought to have happened during a sporting shoot and happened shortly shortly after 4ppm today, October 10.
The injured man, believed to be aged 61, was flown from Danby Moor to the James Cook University Hospital by the Great North Air Ambulance after treatment at the scene by the aircrew doctor and a paramedic. His injuries were said to be non life-threatening and doctors described his condition as stable.
