The North Yorkshire Moors National Park Authority is running a Discovery Day to introduce youngsters to its Explorer Club.
It will take place on Wednesday (April 16) from 10.30am to 2.30pm at the Sutton Bank National Park Centre, near Thirsk.
Youngsters will get the chance to spend the day exploring and caring for a woodland habitat, using spotter's guides, digital microscopes, bug viewers, binoculars and cameras.
